Derek Metcalfe, M.D. is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist & Cataract Surgeon at Eye Surgeons of Worcester, a D’Ambrosio Eye Care medical practice. Dr. Metcalfe earned his Medical Degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston followed by a Residency in Ophthalmology at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Metcalfe provides comprehensive medical, surgical, & laser eye care including laser cataract surgery & lens implants to correct astigmatism as well as near vision presbyopia correcting multifocal lens implants to help patients be less dependent on bifocals or readers after cataract surgery.
